This silent film captures the atmosphere of Trixie's Saloon, a small-town bar known for its welcoming community environment. The goal of the assignment was to portray the feeling of a place without using sound, allowing the visuals to communicate the mood and energy of the space. I chose Trixie’s because of its unique atmosphere, where families gather for meals during the day and the space transforms into a lively nightlife spot in the evening. Through a variety of shots including close-ups, pans, and aerial footage, the film highlights the rhythms of the bar and the small-town connections that exist within it. By removing audio, the piece encourages viewers to focus on the details of the environment and imagine the sounds and conversations that fill the space.
